Announcing Job Openings at Sendero Energy Services for Safety Technician & Assistant Project Manager

Sendero Energy Services, a leading renewable energy civil contractor, is thrilled to announce that we are hiring for two key positions - Safety Technician and Assistant Project Manager. As we continue to expand and undertake exciting renewable energy projects, we seek highly skilled and motivated professionals to join our team and contribute to our success.


Safety Technician - Ensuring Safe Work Practices on Renewable Energy Projects

As a Safety Technician at Sendero Energy Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all construction work is performed safely and complies with relevant regulations and standards.


Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Conducting safety inspections and audits.

  • Providing safety training to employees and subcontractors.

  • Identifying potential hazards.

  • Investigating accidents and incidents.

  • Monitoring site activities.

  • Assisting in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures for renewable energy projects.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, health and environmental sciences, or a related field, along with at least three years of experience in construction safety management, preferably with experience in renewable energy projects. Safety certifications are preferred, and you should know OSHA regulations and standards and renewable energy project-specific regulations and standards. Strong communication and collaboration skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are also essential qualifications for this role. Some travel to project sites may be required.


Assistant Project Manager - Supporting Project Management for Renewable Energy Projects

As a Sendero Energy Services Assistant Project Manager, you will support our project management team in planning, executing, and monitoring renewable energy projects. Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assisting with project planning.

  • Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Monitoring project progress.

  • Participating in project meetings.

  • Assisting with project budgeting and cost control.

  • Managing project documentation.

  • Coordinating with project teams to ensure timely and successful project completion.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in construction project management, preferably with experience in managing renewable energy construction projects. Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing multiple projects simultaneously, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills, are important qualifications for this role. Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project and Excel, familiarity with renewable energy projects and regulations, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are also required. Some travel to project sites may be necessary.
